UV or LED nail lamp: which should I buy?
LED lamps generally cure gel faster than older UV-only lamps, and many current lamps are dual UV/LED so they work with most gel brands. Always follow the gel brand's cure timing for your lamp.
Are cordless nail lamps good for salons?
Cordless, rechargeable lamps are handy for pedicure stations and mobile work because there is no cable in the way. Table-top plug-in lamps suit fixed manicure stations.
Will any lamp cure any gel polish?
Most modern UV/LED lamps cure most gels, but results depend on the lamp's output. Check the gel manufacturer's instructions for the recommended lamp type and time.
