Buying wholesale by the pallet
Pallet quantities are for the supplies a busy salon goes through without thinking about them: disposable pedicure liners and kits, gloves, and paraffin wax, from DND, Shamrock Manufacturing, and Voesh. The products are the same ones you already reorder by the case. What changes is how many times a year you have to place that order.
Read the pack breakdown in the title
Every pallet listing spells out its own math, and it pays to read it before you order. The DND Disposable Pedicure Liner in blue, for example, is listed at 400 per box and 108 per pallet; the disposable pedicure kits are listed at 200 per box or per case depending on the item; latex gloves are listed by case count per pallet. Work backward from your service volume — liners and kits per pedicure, gloves per tech per day — and the right pallet count gets easier to pin down.
What pallet buying asks of you
Space and cash flow are the practical constraints. A pallet of liners takes floor or stockroom room and arrives all at once, so it suits a salon with a steady pedicure schedule and somewhere dry to keep stock. If you are not there yet, the same categories are available in smaller units under pedicure and tools and accessories.
