Drills FAQ
How do I choose a nail drill?
Choose by the work you do. High-torque machines suit heavy acrylic removal, quiet low-vibration models suit long days of client work, and compact cordless drills suit mobile and pedicure services.
Corded or cordless nail drill?
Corded drills give steady power all day at the station. Cordless drills are easier to move around and are popular for pedicures and mobile work, but need charging.
What bits do I need?
Most techs keep carbide bits for product removal, diamond bits for cuticle and detail work, and sanding bands for shaping and prep. You can find them in our nail drill bits range.
Is there a guide to compare drills?
Yes. Our professional nail drill guide on the blog walks through the popular models and what separates them.
