iGel Match duos: one shade, gel and lacquer
This page is iGel's Match range - a gel polish and a lacquer in the same shade, sold together under one DD number. DD 001 Baby Powder, DD 005 Crepe, DD 007 Blush Pink and DD 009 Ballerina Gown are numbered the same way as the rest of the run, so a shade a client liked last visit gets reordered by its number instead of from memory of the name.
Why stock the duo rather than the gel alone
The pairing is what earns its place at the station. Gel on the hands and the matching lacquer on the toes finish in the same color, with no hunting through two vendors for a close-enough match. The lacquer half also covers a client who does not want a cured service that day, and it is the piece you can retail if you sell polish over the counter. If you want a dip powder in that shade as well, that is a three-piece set rather than a duo - see trios and trio and duo sets.
Building the shade wall
Duos are easiest to buy in blocks. Cover the shades your regulars ask for first, widen the wall from there as the calendar moves, and keep a note of the DD numbers that empty fastest so a reorder takes one line instead of ten. Compare the rest of our gel and lacquer two-piece sets, browse the whole nail color department, or match toe shades up with pedicure supplies.
