What the OM numbers are for
Ombre shades carry an OM code, for example OM07B, OM08B and OM15B. They are sold as individual jars, so a tech can buy only the two or three numbers a particular fade calls for rather than a whole block of the series. Because the code is on the jar, a gradient that works on a client can be repeated and reordered exactly, which matters when the same fade has to look identical at the next fill.
