Waxing supplies
Wax, warmers, applicators and the consumables that go with hair removal services. Waxing is consumed strictly per client, so the reorder cycle is driven by bookings rather than by the calendar.
The main split is between hard wax, which is applied and lifted without a strip, and soft wax used with strips. Most salons keep both, because they suit different areas and different client tolerances. Warmers are equipment rather than consumables and are stocked in wax warmers.
Related services sit in eyebrow and waxing tools, and the wider spa category is facial and spa.
Wax is a heated professional product. Follow the manufacturer's directions and safety data sheet for the specific product and warmer, work within your state board's rules on temperature and sanitation, and send any client who reports a burn or reaction to a doctor.
Consumables to order alongside the wax itself: applicators in more than one size, strips if you use soft wax, pre-wax cleanser and post-wax care. Running out of applicators mid-service is the most common gap, because they are consumed faster than the wax they apply.
Warmer capacity should match your booking volume — a small pot that needs refilling between clients costs time on a busy day. See waxing tools for the rest of the setup.
